Hermle Manufacturer Warranty

At Just a Clock Collector, we are proud to be an authorized Hermle seller. New Hermle clocks purchased from us include Hermle’s limited manufacturer warranty, as outlined below.

This warranty applies to new Hermle clocks only. Vintage, antique, pre-owned, and non-Hermle clocks are covered by the condition details shown on the individual listing and by our store policies.

Please retain all original packaging for your Hermle clock. Warranty service may require the clock to be returned in its original carton to help prevent damage during transportation.

About Hermle

Hermle North America is a branch of the world-renowned Hermle Uhren. Hermle has helped set the standard for fine clocks since the company was founded by Franz Hermle in Germany in 1922.

With proper care and maintenance, Hermle clocks can last for many years to come. Our hope is that your clock will become a family heirloom to be enjoyed and passed on to the next generation.

Hermle’s warranty offers a timeframe in which defects in materials or workmanship may be reported. Once the warranty period is over, the clock is no longer eligible for warranty repair or replacement. However, Hermle does offer friendly, USA-based phone support for the life of your clock. This phone support is not meant to replace an in-person assessment, but it may help with minor troubleshooting or general questions.

During the warranty period, please make sure to retain all original packaging.

Hermle Limited Warranty

Hermle makes the following limited warranties. These limited warranties extend to the original consumer purchaser, or any person receiving this product as a gift from the original consumer purchaser, and to no other purchaser or transferee.

Hermle warrants to the consumer that the movement and accompanying components will be free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of three years from the date of the original retail purchase, or five years from the date of manufacture, whichever date occurs first.

The obligation of Hermle under these warranties is limited to repair or replacement, at Hermle’s discretion, of this product.

All warranty repairs must be brought to the point of sale, and all products must be returned within the original carton to eliminate damage during return transportation.

Warranty Exclusions

Exclusions to this limited warranty include, but are not limited to:

Unauthorized repairs
Mishandling of the product
Abuse and/or misuse of the product
Modifications to the product or components
Damage to the product and/or its components
Damage beyond regular use
Damage caused by environmental situations and/or changes of climate
Transportation damage, accidents, or acts of God

Legal Warranty Language

All warranties implied by applicable law, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are expressly limited to the duration of the limited warranties set forth above.

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

With the exception of any warranties, guarantees, agreements, and similar obligations of Hermle or seller implied by state law as hereby limited, the foregoing express warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties, guarantees, agreements, and similar obligations of Hermle or seller with respect to the repair or replacement of any product or parts.

In no event shall Hermle be liable for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages, whether arising in contract or tort.

Some states or provinces do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary by state or province.
