About Just A Clock Collector

Welcome to Just A Clock Collector.

Just A Clock Collector was built from a genuine appreciation for clocks—the craftsmanship, mechanical ingenuity, history, and character that make a fine timepiece much more than something that simply tells time.

Based in Raleigh, North Carolina, I serve clock owners, collectors, decorators, businesses, and gift buyers locally throughout the Triangle and across the United States.

Learn more about our Raleigh clock dealer services

Today, Just A Clock Collector is an authorized dealer for respected clock and timepiece makers including Hermle, Comitti of London, Hönes, Kieninger, Weems & Plath, Sternreiter, Rombach & Haas, and NeXtime. The collection ranges from traditional German mechanical clocks and handcrafted cuckoo clocks to English mantel and table clocks, nautical instruments, contemporary designs, and distinctive statement pieces.

Many factory-new clocks ship directly from the manufacturer or authorized distributor, giving customers access to a much broader selection than could reasonably be stocked in a single showroom. I also work directly with my suppliers to help customers with product availability, special orders, replacement parts, and questions before and after the sale.

In addition to complete clocks, Just A Clock Collector offers an extensive selection of mechanical clock movements and replacement parts, including components for Hermle, Kieninger, Urgos, Regula, and other widely used movements. Whether you are replacing a movement, restoring a clock, or simply trying to identify the correct part, I am always happy to help where I can.

Vintage, antique, pre-owned, and new-old-stock clocks remain an important part of the business as well. I take care to describe these pieces clearly and honestly, with close attention to condition, movement type, operation, originality, and overall presentation. Each clock is packed with the same care I would want if it were being shipped to me.

What separates Just A Clock Collector from a large anonymous marketplace is simple: this business is focused on clocks. I understand that the details matter—from movements and chime sequences to case finishes, pendulums, weights, availability, and safe shipping. If I do not know the answer to a question, I will work with the manufacturer, distributor, or parts supplier to find it.

What Our Customers Say

One of the most rewarding parts of building Just A Clock Collector has been hearing from customers who share the same connection to clocks and the memories that often come with them.

“We had a few questions and Andy (the owner of Just A Clock Collector) got back with us within minutes. He really has taken care of us and helped us through the purchasing of it and questions after. I have never had such excellent customer service. He has such a love of clocks and reading his blog really touched me.”

The customer went on to share that her father had handmade clocks when she was growing up and that she still has one of his clocks in her home today.

“I just stumbled upon this website and am so thankful that I did. I’ll be passing it along to friends and family. If you purchase from Andy, I guarantee that you will be very happy and satisfied indeed.”

★★★★★ Customer Review

I also work with corporate, hospitality, interior design, and commercial customers seeking clocks and timepieces for executive gifts, offices, hotels, restaurants, common areas, and other projects.

Whether you are looking for a German mechanical clock, a handcrafted cuckoo clock, a traditional English timepiece, a nautical instrument, a replacement movement, a hard-to-find clock part, or a one-of-a-kind vintage piece, my goal is to make buying it straightforward, informed, and personal.

Thank you for visiting Just A Clock Collector.
