Mechanical or quartz cuckoo?
Mechanical cuckoo clocks use descending weights and need regular winding. Quartz cuckoo clocks run on batteries. Compare the movement listed for each model; hanging weights alone do not tell you how a clock is powered.
What should I know about music and night silence?
The cuckoo call, music, animation and silence controls vary by model. A musical clock does not necessarily play the same tunes as another. If a particular melody or nighttime setting matters, ask me to confirm it before you choose.
