Refund policy

At Just A Clock Collector, every clock is packed with care and described as accurately as possible. Because clocks can vary greatly by age, condition, movement type, and shipping sensitivity, our return policy depends on whether the item is vintage/pre-owned or new.

Vintage, Antique & Pre-Owned Clocks

All vintage, antique, and pre-owned clocks are sold as-is and are not eligible for returns or buyer’s remorse refunds.

Each vintage clock is carefully selected, inspected, photographed, and described as accurately as possible before being listed. Because these are older, pre-owned pieces, normal signs of age, wear, finish variation, prior repair, patina, and minor imperfections should be expected.

Vintage clocks may also require normal setup, leveling, adjustment, or fine-tuning after shipping. This is especially common with mechanical clocks, pendulum clocks, chiming clocks, and older wind-up movements.

Please review all photos, read the full description, and ask any questions before purchasing. We are always happy to provide additional information before an order is placed.

New Clocks

New clocks may be eligible for return within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused, undamaged, and returned in its original packaging with all included parts, instructions, paperwork, and accessories.

The buyer is responsible for return shipping unless the return is due to an error on our part.

Returned new clocks must arrive back in the same condition in which they were received. Items that are damaged, used, missing parts, altered, or not returned in their original packaging may not be eligible for a full refund.

Damage During Shipping

If an item arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and keep all packaging materials, including the box, packing paper, bubble wrap, and any other shipping materials.

Shipping damage is handled through the carrier insurance process. Photos of the damaged item, the shipping box, and all packaging materials may be required in order to file an insurance claim.

Please do not discard the packaging or attempt repairs before contacting us, as this may affect the ability to file a claim with the shipping carrier.

Refunds

Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method. Original shipping charges, return shipping costs, and any carrier-related costs may be deducted where applicable.

We reserve the right to refuse a return or reduce a refund if the item is returned damaged, incomplete, altered, or in a different condition than it was sent.
