Before You Order
ButterBearing® Service is intended to restore proper operation to serviceable obsolete movements, but it is not a repair service for broken or excessively worn components. Broken or worn parts are not repaired or replaced as part of this service.
All movements are subject to evaluation, and Butterworth Clock Service reserves the right to decline any movement that is not suitable for the ButterBearing® process.
Not Sure Which Service You Need?
Send us pictures first.
Before ordering, send clear photographs of your clock and movement, including any identifying numbers stamped into the movement. We'll review them and help determine whether your movement is a candidate for ButterBearing® Service and which service option applies.
What to Send
Send the movement, chains or cables, and leader.
Do not send the weights.
Please securely pack the movement to prevent movement or damage during shipping. Double-boxing is strongly recommended.
A New Option for an Obsolete Movement
Many older Hermle, Kieninger and Urgos movements are no longer manufactured and can no longer simply be replaced with a new equivalent. ButterBearing® Service provides another option: professionally service the movement you already have and extend its usable life for years to come.
Questions before ordering? Contact Just A Clock Collector and we'll be happy to take a look at your movement.
