Jauch to Hermle Clock Movement Conversion Kits

A worn or discontinued Jauch clock movement does not necessarily mean the clock has reached the end of its useful life. These complete Jauch-to-Hermle conversion kits provide a factory-new Hermle mechanical movement together with the applicable conversion components needed to replace select Jauch grandfather clock and floor clock movements.

These are complete conversion kits—not simply replacement movements. Depending on the model selected, kit contents may include replacement hands, wood shims, a top mounting hook, a gong assembly, or other components required for the conversion. Contents vary by model and chime configuration, so review the individual product listing carefully before ordering.

Find a Replacement for Your Jauch Movement

Current Jauch-to-Hermle conversion options include:

  • Jauch 61: Hermle 451-053/75 DB Westminster-chime conversion
  • Jauch 64: Hermle 451-050/85 DB Westminster or Hermle 1151-050/85 triple-chime conversion
  • Jauch 77: Hermle 451-050/94 Westminster or Hermle 1151-050/94 triple-chime conversion
  • Jauch 78: Hermle 451-053/94 DB Westminster or Hermle 1151-053SK/94 triple-chime conversion
  • Jauch 93 or Jauch 96: Hermle 471-050/94 Westminster or Hermle 1171-050/94 triple-chime conversion
  • Jauch 110 or Jauch 116: Hermle 471-050/114 Westminster or Hermle 1171-050/114 triple-chime conversion

These references identify the appropriate conversion-kit family. Pendulum length, chime configuration, hand-shaft arrangement, mounting requirements, gong placement, weights, and other clock-specific details must still be verified before ordering.

Complete Conversion Kit or Movement Only?

Choose a complete Jauch-to-Hermle conversion kit when your clock still contains its original Jauch movement and needs the components required to install the corresponding Hermle replacement.

If your clock has already been converted to a Hermle movement—or you only need a replacement for an existing Hermle model—you may need the corresponding movement by itself. Browse our complete selection of replacement clock movements for movement-only options.

Conversion hardware is not included with movement-only listings unless the individual product description specifically states otherwise.

Can a Jauch Clock Movement Be Replaced?

Many discontinued Jauch movements can be replaced using a compatible modern Hermle movement and the proper conversion components. However, these conversions are not universal drop-in replacements. The original movement number and the clock’s physical configuration must be matched carefully.

Before ordering, locate the movement number stamped into the back plate of your existing movement. Clear photographs of the back plate, dial, movement, pendulum, weights, gong assembly, and inside of the clock case can help confirm the required configuration.

Help Identifying Your Jauch Replacement

If you are uncertain which Jauch-to-Hermle conversion kit your clock requires, please do not guess. Use our movement identification and quote form and include clear photographs of your existing movement and all stamped numbers.

Professional installation is recommended, particularly when mounting changes, hand fitting, gong placement, weight changes, or other clock-case modifications may be required.
