Barometers & Weather Instruments
Choose the instrument for the setting.
Start with what you want to measure and where it will live.
Which readings does this instrument provide?
Compare the functions listed for the individual instrument: air pressure, temperature and humidity are different measurements. A weather station may combine several instruments; a barometer alone does not provide all of them.
Can I use it outdoors?
Only if the maker specifies outdoor use for that model. Check exposure limits and mounting instructions. A barometer may need initial adjustment to a local reference reading; follow its instructions for setup.
