Weems & Plath
Choose a function, then a finish.
Clocks, weather instruments and display pieces each serve a different purpose.
Which nautical instrument do I need?
Begin with its function: timekeeping, a ship’s bell sequence, tide indication or weather readings. Compare the functions of each item rather than assuming matching cases contain the same instrument.
Will a base or mount fit?
Match the base or bracket to the exact instrument series and size. Check what is included in the listing; a pictured display base or companion instrument may be sold separately.
