Clock Policy

Just a Clock Collector offers both vintage and antique clocks as well as select new clocks in partnership with Hermle North America.

Vintage and antique clocks are older mechanical pieces with character, history, and craftsmanship. Because of their age and nature, future performance cannot be guaranteed. Even clocks that are running well at the time of listing may eventually require adjustment, maintenance, cleaning, or repair. Changes in transport, environment, setup, humidity, leveling, and normal use can all affect operation once a clock arrives in its new home.

Unless otherwise stated, vintage and antique clocks are sold as is. Any observations regarding condition, timekeeping, strike, or chime function reflect the clock at the time of listing and prior to shipment, and are not a warranty of future performance. By purchasing one of these pieces, the buyer acknowledges and accepts the unique nature of vintage and antique clocks.

We also proudly offer select new clocks in partnership with Hermle North America. These clocks ship brand new and include the applicable Hermle factory warranty for added buyer confidence. Unlike vintage and antique clocks, new Hermle clocks are current production pieces backed by Hermle’s manufacturer warranty.

Shipping & Care

All clocks are carefully prepared for shipment with attention to protecting the movement and external case.

Pendulums and internal components are secured prior to shipping.

Larger or more delicate clocks may be double boxed for added protection.

Upon arrival, minor setup or adjustment may be required, as is normal with mechanical clocks.
