Cervus Venaticu is a substantial carved hunting clock, built around a stag, pheasant and hare. The composition gives model 8T 215/9 the woodland character associated with traditional Black Forest hunting pieces, with the carved case providing the main visual interest rather than a chalet scene or dancing figures.

At 48 cm high, 30 cm wide and 26 cm deep, this is a clock with a noticeable presence on the wall. It suits a study, living room or entrance where the hunting motif can be seen clearly. The depth of the case and the pendulum below should be considered when choosing its position, especially on a narrow wall or near furniture.

Eight-day mechanical movement

The weight-driven 8-day movement needs winding once a week. The cuckoo calls on the hour and half hour, and the pendulum moves below the carved case. There is no music box: this model offers the traditional cuckoo call without a separate musical performance. A manual night shut-off lets you silence the sound whenever required.
