Anton Schneider 90/10 Avis Flora 1-day Cuckoo Clock

Avis Flora adds hand-painted color to the traditional bird-and-leaf carving. Red blossoms glow between seven carved leaves, while a bird poised above the dial completes the composition. Because the floral accents are painted by hand, small differences in color and detail make every clock individually expressive.

Movement, sound and animation

The mechanical 1-day movement is wound daily using the pinecone weights. Its cuckoo calls on the hour and half hour through a traditional bellows-and-pipe system, with the pendulum moving steadily beneath the case. This non-musical model includes a manual shut-off so the call can be silenced.

Handcrafted in the Black Forest

The linden-wood case is painted, fitted and assembled by hand in Gütenbach, Germany. Natural variations in wood grain, color and figures are part of the character of a handmade clock, so no two examples are exactly alike. The mechanical movement carries the VdS certificate of authenticity for genuine Black Forest origin, materials and manufacture and is covered by a 24-month movement warranty.
