Anton Schneider MT 6100/9 Avis Melodia 1-day Cuckoo Clock

Avis Melodia pairs traditional carving with music and movement. A large bird spreads its wings above a wreath of carved leaves, while four colorful dancers emerge below the dial. The contrast between the calm carved crown and the animated figures gives this clock a lively personality in a relatively compact 33 cm format.

Movement, sound and animation

The mechanical 1-day movement is wound daily. Its 22-note music box plays Edelweiss and The Happy Wanderer, and the dancers bring the scene to life as the clock performs. The cuckoo calls on the hour and half hour, while an automatic night shut-off silences the call and music in the evening.

Handcrafted in the Black Forest

The linden-wood case is painted, fitted and assembled by hand in Gütenbach, Germany. Natural variations in wood grain, color and figures are part of the character of a handmade clock, so no two examples are exactly alike. The mechanical movement carries the VdS certificate of authenticity for genuine Black Forest origin, materials and manufacture and is covered by a 24-month movement warranty.
