The clock is in excellent working condition. It is keeping accurate time, and the shipstrike function is working exactly as it should. The strike is crisp, clean, and properly sequenced. Both winding arbors wind smoothly, and the dial includes controls for fast/slow regulation and strike/silent selection.

The silvered dial presents beautifully with bold black numerals, Boston branding, Shipstrike marking, and Chelsea Clock – USA at the bottom of the dial. The polished brass case has a warm, attractive shine, and the mahogany base has a deep glossy finish that displays beautifully from every angle. The screw-on brass bezel with glass is included.
