The Hermle Astro is a mechanical Tellurium clock that combines open architectural casework with an astronomical display of the Earth, Moon and Sun. Its metal fins form an exposed frame around the mechanism, allowing the moving celestial display and gear train to remain part of the visual design.

The Tellurium tracks the Earth's annual orbit and daily rotation while the Moon revolves around the Earth, creating a mechanical representation of the calendar year and lunar cycle. The movement is paired with Westminster chimes and automatic night shutoff.
