Beautiful working vintage Seth Thomas Severn-2 mechanical alarm clock featuring an incredible Art Deco / Machine Age design and striking burnt orange textured finish.

Made in Thomaston, Connecticut, U.S.A., this authentic Seth Thomas desk clock delivers the kind of bold vintage styling that instantly stands out in any office, bookshelf, study, or collector display.

This clock has fantastic visual presence with its geometric form, brass trim, stylized numerals, and warm textured case finish. The orange colorway is especially eye-catching and far less common than the darker examples typically found.

Even better — this example is running and functioning, making it both a beautiful decorator piece and a usable vintage mechanical clock.

Dating & History: This Seth Thomas Severn-2 dates to approximately 1951 and was manufactured in Thomaston, Connecticut, USA. Although produced in the early 1950s, its streamlined case, geometric detailing, and distinctive period styling strongly reflect the Art Deco and Machine Age design influence of the preceding decades. The Severn-2 was a mechanical wind-up alarm clock and is an excellent example of Seth Thomas carrying classic American Deco styling into the postwar era.
