What “NB” Means
NB means Non-Bushed. In a non-bushed movement, the wheel pivots run directly in the movement plates rather than in separate replaceable bushings. It is designed to replace the standard version of the same matching model number and configuration, and with proper care it can still provide decades of dependable use.
Match the Complete Movement Number
The letters and suffixes in a movement number are part of the exact manufacturer designation and can identify important construction or configuration differences. Do not order by the base series alone.
Before ordering, compare the replacement with the movement already in your clock and verify:
- The complete model number, including every letter, suffix, and number after a slash
- Pendulum length or gearing, where applicable
- Hand-shaft length and dial clearance
- Drive system, chime or strike configuration, and hammer location
If you are unsure, contact us before ordering with a clear photograph of the entire back plate and its stamped movement number.
