The Froxfield Floor Clock – Black Oak
Designed by Edmund Barker and limited to just 25 individually numbered pieces, The Froxfield Floor Clock brings traditional English cabinetmaking into a distinctly contemporary silhouette. In black oak, its curved chamfers turn the tall cabinet into a sculptural study of grain, proportion and light.
A matching sunburst-veneer dial sits above the exposed eight-day bell-strike movement, while mineral glass on the front and sides reveals the mechanism and grained nickel-silver fittings. The result feels architectural from across the room and beautifully considered at close range.
