Here is a beautiful vintage New England Clock mantel clock with a warm traditional tambour case, original character, and a sought-after German Hermle mechanical movement inside.

This one is working as found and has great visual presence on a shelf, mantel, or desk. It is fitted with a Franz Hermle 340-020 mechanical movement and Westminster rod chime, giving it the classic mechanical sound and charm collectors want.

The dial is marked New England Clock, Farmington, Conn. U.S.A. and the clock has a very attractive old-world look with ornate hands, Arabic numerals, and a nicely shaped case that displays beautifully.

Condition is very respectable overall. The case presents nicely, but there does appear to be some clear finish loss / thinning in spots, consistent with age and use. Nothing that keeps it from being a very handsome display piece, but it should be noted for accuracy. Please review photos carefully as they are part of the description.

This is being sold as working as found. That means it is currently running, but I am not representing it as freshly serviced or overhauled. As with any vintage mechanical clock, future adjustment, cleaning, or servicing may eventually be desired depending on your standards and environment.
