The Sheraton Stick Barometer
Based on a Sheraton door-stick form from circa 1810 and a Comitti example made in 1860, this slender barometer is an elegant piece of living history. Feathered mahogany veneer, rope-pattern edging and corner-fan inlays reward close inspection along the full length of the cabinet.
Its temperature-compensated aneroid movement includes yesterday-and-today trend scales, with a separate spirit thermometer for Fahrenheit readings.
