The Hermle H. Clay Earles Floor Clock combines fluted columns and a swan-neck pediment with a moon-phase dial and mechanical triple-chime movement. The traditional case is made in the USA, while the movement and clock accessories are made in Germany.

The movement plays Westminster, St. Michael and Whittington chimes and includes automatic night shutoff and a silencing lever. Beginning in 2026, this model also became the official grandfather-clock trophy presented to the winner at Martinsville Speedway, continuing the NASCAR tradition of awarding a grandfather clock that began in 1964. The model was renamed in honor of Martinsville Speedway founder H. Clay Earles.
